Easy to grow and dependable. 'Apricotta' Cosmos prefers full sun and average. medium moisture. well-drained soils. It tolerates dry soils. but rich soils may produce weak. leggy plants and encourage foliage at the expense of blooms. Although 'Apricotta' is low maintenance. deadheading spent flowers keeps the plant blooming and from prolifically self-seeding.

Direct sow cosmos seeds after last frost date into soil that has warmed to 65 degrees Fahrenheit. or start seeds indoors 4 to 6 weeks before the last frost date and transplant into the garden once the threat of frost has passed.
