Orange Climbing Rose Seeds
Height: 7-12 feetGermination time: around 40 DaysBlooming Season: Early. mid & late summerSun Requirements: Partial shade. partial and full sunDescription: Climbing roses are a popular plant for vertical gardens. Interestingly. botanists do not consider them true climbing plants like vines because they don't grow their own support structures to hold onto a surface. Therefore. they need a helping hand and a vertical space to attach to and grow on.If you're interested in growing climbing roses. you can choose to purchase a trellis or an arbor so that they have a suitable place to grow. You can also be creative and train your roses over a fence. a pillar. a garden shed. or other structures in your yard. How to Germinate/Grow:How Do I Germinate Rose Seeds?Growing roses from seed is not the quickest or easiest way to propagate them. However. this method can provide more satisfaction than others when efforts pay off. There are many idiosyncrasies when it comes to different types of roses and what their needs are for growing. But there is a basic method to cultivate rose seeds and plant them successfully for future growth. Cold stratification is the process of exposing seeds to a temperature of approximately 35 degrees Fahrenheit. You can do this by placing them in your refrigerator. Store them by placing them inside of a folded paper towel that has been moistened with half-part purified (bottled) water and half-part bleach. then placing them in a zip-lock bag. Don't forget to mark the varieties if you are using more than one kind of rose. Keep them in the cold for 45 to 60 days. You can plant seeds immediately after stratification if there is no danger of a heavy frost. Use a mixture of 50 percent planting soil and 50 percent vermiculite. and place seeds a half-inch apart from each other. Use small. shallow trays as long as there is good drainage. Place them in direct sunlight. or use grow lights for 16 hours a day. Keep moist with regular watering. The third leaf that appears from the soil is the true rose leaf. After two or more leaves are visible. plant the seedling in its own pot. A 3-inch plastic pot will do. Make sure you have it in direct sun or are using grow lights. Help it along with half a teaspoon to 1 quart solution of Miracle Grow and water. How to Grow?1. Test the seeds before planting. Put the seeds in water and discard the seeds that float. Seeds that float may be hallow. The plump. heavier seeds that sink in the water have a better chance of survival. 2. Purchase a flat container for planting the seeds. This will need to fit into your refrigerator. Consult with your gardening center to choose the best flat for your needs. 3. Mix equal parts sand. soil and peat moss. Consult with your gardening center. as they may have a pre-made mixture that you can purchase. You will need enough to fill the flat. 4. Fill the flat with the sand. soil and peat moss mixture. 5. Plant each rose seed ¼-inch deep and space seeds 1 inch apart. 6. Place the flat in the refrigerator; the desired temperature will be about 40 degrees F. Keep in the refrigerator for about three months to germinate. 7. Remove the flat from the refrigerator and place in a sunny window. where the room temperature is between 65 to 70 degrees F. Water lightly. Do not overwater. and do not allow the soil to get overly dry. Transplant the heartiest of seedlings to the garden the following spring.Note:Rose on soil not ask for much. just with some humus soil aggregate structure can be good training as long as the following three links will make good growth: Rose is afraid of(1) Rose is drought tolerant plants. but it is afraid floods. It is necessary use non-glazed bonsai pots of soil cultivation. The principle is "do not pour water on it when soil is not dry. Wet it completely when you pour water on soil.”(2) Lend a high concentration of fertilizer (especially fertilizers) will result in the death of local rot.(3) All plants need sunlight. Rose like sunshine too. Fertilization should be diligent in summer. every 15 to 20 days to be applied once a watering time after fertilization to prevent burning seedlings. Fall pruning should be to prevent excessive growth. flowering and plant type of beauty. Rose more aphids. pay attention to prevention and treatment

Orange white roses seeds
How to grow:Before growing the roses from seed. the seeds have to undergo a period of stratification. This is a cold moist storage that gets the seeds ready for germination.Cold TreatmentChilling your seeds in a refrigerator for about six to ten weeks encourages them to germinate faster once planted. However. you must take care to avoid keeping them cold for long as they can germinate while still in the refrigerator. Place your seeds on a paper towel before moistening them. Use half purified water and half peroxide to prevent the growth of mould. You can then place them in a plastic zippered bag. mark the date and variety before placing in a refrigerator set at 1 to 3 degrees C. The paper towel should remain moist for the entire period. You can check occasionally to see if it needs remoistening. Make sure you don't freeze the towel. There are other ways to stratify the seeds like planting them in a tray of potting mix and refrigerating the entire tray for weeks. The tray is usually enclosed in a plastic bag to keep it moist.Planting your seedsWhen you think your seeds are ready for planting (6-10 weeks). remove the bag from the refrigerator if that was your stratification method. You will need shallow trays or small pots to plant your seeds. Whatever works between the trays and pots is fine as long they have good drainage. The ideal size of the trays or pots should be 3-4 inches deep. You can use separate trays when planting seeds from different varieties of rose hips. You must follow your labeling all the way down from harvesting. treatment. and planting. The rose bush name and planting date are some of the details to indicate on your trays or pots.Next fill your trays or pots with the potting soil. You can opt to use 50% sterile potting soil and 50% vermiculite. or half peat and half perlite. When the potting mix is ready in the trays or pots. this is the time to take off your seeds from the towel. Remember the seeds must not be removed from the plastic bag until they are ready to be planted. You lightly dust them before planting.Place your seeds about ¼ inch into the soil and dust the surface again to prevent the damp off disease that kills seeds. Water them properly and place them outside in direct sunlight. If there is frost. it is advised you place your seeds under a tree or in a sheltered part of the patio to protect them. There is no need for grow lights.Keep the soil pots or trays watered but not soggy. Do not let them dry up as this might affect the germination of your seeds.Watch for germinationAfter about six weeks. the first two seed leaves will start to emerge before the true leaves can emerge. The seedling must have three to four true leaves before they can be ready for transplanting.Planting your seedlingsWhen the seedlings are grown a few inches tall with at least three true leaves. they are ready to be transplanted. You can transplant them into a four-inch pot of your liking. You don't have to plant all your seedlings but only the healthy ones. You can choose to monitor them on the tray and only transplant them when they have outgrown it.You must monitor the seedlings as they grow in their new pots for colour. form. bush size. branching. and disease resistance. Roses with weak. unhealthy or unattractive flowers can be discarded. It will take your new seedlings at least three years before they reach maturity and develop into a big bush. However. the first flower can be seen after one or two years. * Germination rate depends on the country and the weather circumstances.

Organic Sunflower Seeds
Product Details Sow Method Direct Sow Sun Full Sun Height 3-4 feet Spread 15-30 inches Ornamental Use Beds. Container. Cut Flowers Life Cycle Annual Growing Information Sunflowers are grown from seed sown directly in the garden after frost. Direct sow seeds in average soil in full sun after all danger of frost. When choosing a site consider that sunflowers need a well-drained soil. They face the sun. so make sure they are in an open area of the garden. The taller varieties will cast shadows on other plants. so plant these at the north end of your garden. Prepare the soil by removing weeds and working organic matter into the top 6-8 inches of soil; then level and smooth. Most plants respond well to soils amended with organic matter. Compost is a wonderful form of organic matter with a good balance of nutrients and an ideal pH level. it can be added to your planting area at any time. If compost is not available. top dress the soil after planting with 1-2 inches of organic mulch. which will begin to breakdown into compost. After the growing season. a soil test will indicate what soil amendments are needed for the following season. Sow seeds ½ inch deep in groups of 2 or 3 seeds. Space the groups 18-24 inches apart. depending on the variety. Firm soil lightly. water and keep evenly moist. Seedlings will emerge in 7-10 days. Thin to one plant per group when seedlings have two sets of leaves. Keep weeds under control during the growing season. Weeds compete with plants for water. space and nutrients. so control them by either cultivating often or use a mulch to prevent their seeds from germinating. Mulches also help retain soil moisture and maintain even soil temperatures. For annuals an organic mulch of shredded leaves lends a natural look to the bed and will improve the soil as it breaks down in time. Always keep mulches off a plant's stems to prevent possible rot. Keep soil evenly moist but not wet. Once established sunflowers can tolerate drought. No fertilizer is needed unless the soil is poor. Do not over fertilize. Monitor for pests and diseases. Check with your local Cooperative Extension Service for pest controls recommended for your area. Some varieties only produce one bloom so once the bloom is spent. the plant may be removed. Remove plants after they are killed by frost in fall to avoid disease issues the following year. Edible sunflowers will mature in about 3 months or more after sowing. To harvest the seeds. cut the heads off after the stalks are quite dry but before fall or winter rains come. Check the flower heads for maturity to see if the florets in the center of the flower disk have shriveled and the back of the flower head is turning yellow. or the head is starting to droop. Cut flower-heads with a foot of the stalk attached. Hang heads in a warm. dry. well-ventilated place so the seeds may fully ripen and dry. Cheesecloth. netting or a paper bag with holes punched in for ventilation should be placed over the head to protect the seeds and to collect those that may drop from drying. Shorter varieties may be grown in containers. Be sure to use a commercial potting mix. Pollenless varieties make terrific cut flowers.
