Care: When grown in containers petunias need to be fertilized and watered regularly. This will keep the plants blooming all season long. During the heat of summer. they will need to be watered a few times a week. When growing petunias in the ground amend the soil with compost before planting. Apply a liquid fertilizer every 1-2 weeks or use a time-release fertilizer at planting time.
